Patterns, we see patterns. We
know when something terrible is going to hap- pen because we’ve seen it time
and time again. Zeus killed his father, who had killed his father before him,
and so on, back through eternity. Now Zeus looks to his sons, his violent,
warring sons, and he sees the pattern repeating. So, he does exactly what a
father is meant to do. He gives them a time out. Castor and Pollux are locked
in a cave for thousands of years, and when only Pollux emerges, the time out
has worked. Now, he travels the worlds, preaching his own misguided message of
peace through inaction.
